"Order took way too long with barely any info"
I ordered from Pentair thinking it would be a simple process, but it ended up being frustrating. The order seemed like it just sat there for days, and the tracking didn’t really tell me much. I don’t have every detail on what happened behind the scenes, but from my end it felt like nothing was moving until I reached out to support. It did eventually arrive, but later than expected, and the box was roughed up. Maybe it was a one-off, but I’m not in a hurry to order from their site again
"Customer service just won’t respond"
I’ve been trying to get in touch with Pentair support about an issue with my pool pump, it’s been such a headache!!
I sent messages through their website, waited several days, then finally called, only to get bounced around without any real answer. Everyone keeps saying someone will get back to me, but nobody actually does.
The pump itself might be perfectly fine, but if you need help after buying it, good luck. I still don’t have a clear solution, and I’m tired of chasing them down.

"Still Not Loving the Taste"
Well... I bought this Pentair filter hoping it would finally take care of the weird taste in our tap water, but i barely noticed a difference. The water still has an odd smell sometimes too. For what it costs, I really expected better results. Disappointed and I don’t think I’d buy it again.
"Tech Support Was Useless"
I waited way too long to get help, and when someone finally responded, the answers didn’t even fix the problem. What’s the point of contacting support if you just end up right where you started?

"Finding replacement parts was way harder than expected"
I needed what should have been a straightforward replacement part for my pentair system, it turned into a bit of a project. The website was not very intuitive, and a lot of the parts either appeared to be out of stock or just were not listed clearly.
I ended up calling a few different places and got different answers each time, which was frustrating. For how much these systems cost, I would expect the process of getting basic replacement parts to be much smoother. Not a total disaster, but definitely more hassle than it should be.

"Solid pump, but getting it going was a chore"
I’ve had this pump running all summer and so far it’s been reliable. No leaks, no strange noises, and it feels sturdy overall. That said, getting it set up and dialed in took more effort than I was hoping for, which was kind of annoying. Once it was running, though, it’s been doing its job without any issues.

"Pump keeps losing prime and tripping"
I’ve had ongoing issues with the pool pump losing prime and tripping way too often. I keep having to go out and reset it, which gets old fast. Support was slow to respond too, so the whole thing has been frustrating. A pump that can’t stay running without constant babysitting? Make it make sense.

"Good products, but the price feels a little high"
Overall, the products work well and I don’t really have any major complaints about the quality. To be fair, you do get something that does the job. I just think the pricing could be a bit more reasonable, especially once you start adding parts and extras, because the total adds up quickly...

"Install was... mostly fine"
The install took a bit longer than I expected, but... I did get everything working in the end. Not the simplest setup, but it turned out okay.

"Warranty wording is misleading"
I thought the warranty repair would be straightforward, but it’s been nothing but a hassle. The way they word it makes it sound like they’ll actually take care of the problem quickly, but I’m still waiting and support keeps giving me the runaround. Really frustrating experience
